Named after Shrimati Shantaban Dharmasinh Desai, the school was established in July 1966. The School has two section: - Primary and Secondary. Primary Section imparts Instruction For clesses 5^th ,6^th and 7^th and Secondary Section for classes 8^th , 9^th  and 10^th . Medium of instruction is Gujarati. The school runs Literary Circle, C.V. Raman Science Circle, Fine Arts Circle and Physical Education Circle.
