The coeducational college (2002) runs a one - year course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of Sardar Patel University. Those who have done graduation in any subject are eligible for admission. Medium of instruction is English but one can answer in Hindi or Gujarati. Subjects taught are as follows:

Principles and History of Physical Education, Psychology of Physical Education, Organization, Administration and Supervision of Physical Education, Anatomy and Physiology of Exercise, Health Education and Sports Medicine, Methods of Physical Education, Officiating and Coaching. Practical work consists of playing games, sports and gymnastics. The college is the only one in India to be equipped with seven laboratories, each of sports psychology, sports medicine, biomechanics, health education, anatomy and physiology, education technology and physiotherapy. In short, the college offers best infrastructure to train physical education professionals.
