Ayurveda, the hoary indigenous system of medicine, is known for its eco-friendly nature and holistic approach to health and disease. Absence of untoward effects coupled with side benefits has rendered Ayurveda medicines globally acceptable. Charutar Vidya Mandal has the honour to have a model Ayurveda College of international standard at New Vallabh Vidyanagar. The college is equipped with latest technological gadgets, ultramodern infrastructure and highly qualified staff to teach and propagate Ayurveda. The College has 50 student intake capacity which will be increaseed to 100. An attached Ayurveda hospital with more than 300 beds has made name for itself in the area. B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery), a 52-year Ayurveda degree course, is being offered at this institute from the year 2006-07. The College is fully equipped in terms of staff, departments and the required facilities. Library with a huge collection of more than 3000 books and a herbal garden with 150 species of herbs are additional attractions.
